Last Friday we hosted our 8th Annual Stand Against Racism at Seattle City Hall. This year's theme, "Mental Health Through the Lens of Race and Social Justice," explained how institutions like education, health, and criminal justice work to create barriers from childhood through adulthood.

April 24 is World YWCA Day, when YWCAs across the globe celebrate the network we belong to and the work we share in uplifting women. This year's theme is "Find Your Voice, Share Your Story." Established in 1947 as the Annual YWCA Membership Celebration, World YWCA Day took on its current name and present focus on being part of a global movement in 1972.
