Other Ways to Give

We are excited to share that we are exploring a new frontier: digital giving. You can help YWCA right now by taking a couple of minutes and investing in a few additional key strokes.

While YWCA works every day to deliver the tools and resources women and families need to survive, we have a lot more work to do, and we need your support to make it happen.

Beyond monetary contributions, there are numerous impactful ways to stand by the women and families we serve. Here are some other ways you can give to our YWCA.

MATCH YOUR GIFT

Did you know that many companies have matching gift programs or employee giving days to support charitable giving? An estimated $4-$7 billion in matching funds go unclaimed each year! Through these programs, your donation can be matched dollar-for-dollar. Some companies even offer a 2:1 or 3:1 match!

Check if your employer matches your gifts by clicking here. Not all companies are listed, so if you can’t find your employer, your HR department or internal employee benefits documents may have more information.

No matching gift program at your company? Many employers also offer giving options through payroll deduction. You can designate a one-time or recurring gift through your employer’s preferred platform, such as Benevity or United Way.

HOST A WORKPLACE SPOTLIGHT

Our YWCA relies in part on philanthropic contributions to continue our essential work. Through a mutually beneficial partnership, we can help you build a socially conscious workplace culture, promote community involvement, and inspire charitable giving.

  • Host a Lunch and Learn presentation for employees to learn more about YWCA’s work and how they can get involved
  • Coordinate employee volunteer opportunities at one or more of our sites across King and Snohomish counties
  • Coordinate a YWCA focused email campaign to employees on the impact of workplace giving
  • Designate YWCA as a beneficiary for staff celebrations, holiday parties, and other events

Please email molis@ywcaworks.org for questions or more information.

HOST A LUNCHEON TABLE

The Inspire Luncheon is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Gifts inspired by the event support YWCA programs across King and Snohomish counties like emergency and permanent housing; gender-based violence services; and job training. By purchasing a table and serving as a Table Captain, you are an ambassador for YWCA’s Inspire Luncheon. Your role is to invite members of your community and networks to join you at the Luncheon, and to help influence support for YWCA. Want to be a Table Captain but don’t want to do it alone? Ask a friend to join you as a Co-Captain and share the opportunity to introduce people to YWCA!

Are you eager to help us extend our fundraising reach?  If so, connect your passion with YWCA's mission by choosing "YWCA Seattle King Snohomish" as the nonprofit recipient for an Instagram fundraiser or Facebook fundraiser.
