What is YWCA?

YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish is a regional non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, standing up for social justice, helping families, and strengthening communities.

A leader for change since 1894, YWCA operates over 20 program sites across two counties and serves more than 7,000 people each year with a wide range of services.

YWCA works where it’s needed most to create real change every day through services and advocacy. YWCA aim to eliminate disparities for women, girls, and marginalized communities with programs that:

  • Build stable homes and promote economic advancement
  • Improve health and end violence against women
  • Increase racial equity and social justice for all people
