Over the course of YWCA's 2019 Luncheons, more than 1,300 supporters raised over a million dollars in support of eliminating racism and empowering women. This year's theme was "All In for Washington Women" and we thank our community for showing up in force, changing the lives of women and families in our region.

Consumption of products by white Americans is producing pollution that overwhelmingly impacts non-white communities. This disparity between who causes the pollution, and who is forced to suffer from it, is an example of what’s called environmental racism and it has big implications on the health and safety of black neighborhoods like South Seattle.
