YWCA to Host Captain Marvel Screening for All-Female Audience on International Women’s Day

The screening celebrates launch of YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish’s 125th anniversary campaign, the oldest non-profit in Washington serving women and girls.

SEATTLE – This Friday, March 8, the YWCA in partnership with the Seattle Storm and the Riveter are hosting a free screening of Marvel’s first female-led superhero movie Captain Marvel for local high school girls and women. Before the movie, a panel of prominent women leaders will discuss women’s empowerment and their aspirations for the future. This screening marks the official launch of the YW's 125th anniversary campaign to help make 2019 “the year of Washington women.”
