Salma Siddick
She manages the YWCA blog, content marketing, and social media platforms for the agency. She believes in finding different ways to talk about social injustices through client stories and testimonials. Her work stems from the belief that every woman is powerful in her own right, and that with a supportive community, anything can be achieved.
While Salma attended her last year of High School at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Salma attended college in Chicago, Illinois, and Cardiff, Wales with degrees in International Relations and Human Rights Law. She uses content to show how and why YWCA serves the community while emphasizing racial disparities that still plague our society.
In her spare time, Salma enjoys having dance parties with her nephews, doing CrossFit, taking walks in nature and always answering the question, “Where are you from?”
Salma Siddick is the Social Media & Content Manager at YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish. An immigrant from Zimbabwe, Salma has lived, worked, and attended school on three continents.
