Blazing Trails for the Future with Dr. Mae Jemison

September 6, 2024
In 1992, Dr. Mae Jemison served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavor and became the first woman of color to travel to space. Since then, Dr. Jemison has spent her life advocating for science education and the involvement of BIPOC women in STEM. She continues to blaze trails for the future through her actions and empowerment of others, and we are honored to have her join us as this year's Luncheon keynote speaker.

We share the stories of our program participants, programs, and staff, as well as news about the agency and what’s happening in our King and Snohomish community.
