Reduces housing barriers for individuals and families who are ready for permanent housing, but have difficulty meeting landlord criteria due to financial or legal history. Supports tenant before and after move-in and builds partnerships with landlords to increase the supply of affordable housing.

Landlord Engagement Project (LEP) provides landlord outreach, recruitment, and engagement in Snohomish County to lower housing barriers for low-income families.  

LEP provides resources and tools families looking for permanent housing, including a database of vacancies, landlords, and landlord rental criteria.  

We build relationships with landlords, provide educational tools on the resources our program provides tenants and landlords, and encourage them to help end the housing crisis in the community.  

Community partners for LEP include:  

Catholic Community Services (CCS), Cocoon House, Coordinated Entry Navigators ), Everett Area Apartment Managers Association Council (EAAMAC), Everett Housing Authority (EHA), Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO), Housing Hope, HousingSearchNW.org, Interfaith Services,  Lutheran Community Services,  Rapid re-housing providers, Rental Housing Association (RHA), Snohomish County Human Services Department,  Volunteers of America (VOA), and the Washington Rental Owners Association (WROA). 

Eligibility & Enrollment

Participants must be referred to LEP by their case manager, family advocate, or housing navigator.
