YWCA is a subcontractor of the King County Housing Stability Project serving residents of King County since 1994. The project has preserved housing for thousands of residents throughout the area. It has maintained a consistent 92 percent and above success rate of helping households regain and maintain housing stability. This unique project offers grants that can be used to assist tenants that are in danger of eviction, as well as individuals and families who are homeless or who are being forced to move. Veteran households are strongly encouraged to apply.
YWCA Housing Stability Project is open to families whose income must not exceed 50 percent of the area median income (AMI) and must be verifiable and current. Military and veteran households must also have proof of status.
