Domestic Violence Advocacy Day
Domestic Violence Advocacy Day
Join us at the Lacey Community Center on February 10 and February 11 for Domestic Violence Advocacy Day.
Each year, the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) hosts Domestic Violence Advocacy Day at the State Capitol, where advocates and survivors come together to engage with lawmakers on issues that truly matter. This is an amazing opportunity to unite our voices and shine a spotlight on the policy and budget priorities that directly impact survivors and their families. Our advocacy isn’t just about individuals—our impact echoes throughout our communities, creating lasting change. By tackling the systemic barriers survivors face, we’re building a world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Let’s make our voices heard and drive meaningful change together!
If you’ve ever felt unsure about speaking to legislators, this is the perfect opportunity to learn. No prior experience? No problem! This event is all about empowering YOU, and WSCADV will equip you with all the tools and support you need to make a real impact. Your unique perspective is invaluable, and every single story counts in our fight for change. Let’s come together and make our voices heard!
